Imam Hossein Educational Hospital has been the result of an integration of Jorjani, Hashtom Shahrivar, and Sahami (the Psychiatry Center) Hospitals founded in March, 1985, which was later affiliated to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Imam Hossein Hospital had been very active in rendering services to the war front combat troops during the 8-year imposed war with the Iraqi forces.  

Currently, the hospital benefits from wards including Internal, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Digestion, Obstetrics & GYN, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Radiotherapy, Neurology, Psychiatry, Infectious Diseases, Neonates, Dialysis, ICU, CCU, Angiography, Vascular Surgery Wards, as well as Para Clinical Wards.
